Human Oversight & AI Transparency

Effective Date: May 2025
Last Updated: August 18, 2026

1. Purpose and Scope

AIZeryn LLC is committed to developing and using artificial intelligence responsibly, transparently, and with appropriate human oversight. This Human Oversight & AI Transparency statement explains AIZeryn's general approach to human review, accountability, fairness, safety, privacy, and explainability when developing, evaluating, or using artificial intelligence systems. This statement applies to AIZeryn as a company and is intentionally product-agnostic. It does not describe any specific application, service, system, or product.

2. Human Oversight

AIZeryn recognizes that artificial intelligence systems can produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or otherwise unsuitable results. Human judgment and oversight therefore remain important parts of responsible AI development and governance. Depending on the nature, purpose, and potential impact of an AI system or output, AIZeryn may use human oversight measures that include: reviewing system design, training, testing, and deployment decisions; evaluating AI-generated outputs for quality, safety, accuracy, and appropriateness; establishing escalation procedures for uncertain, harmful, or sensitive situations; monitoring system performance and identifying recurring errors or risks; correcting, modifying, restricting, or discontinuing systems when appropriate; and providing channels through which concerns may be reported and reviewed. Human review may be conducted before or after an AI output is generated, depending on the relevant circumstances. Because AI systems may operate at scale, not every output will necessarily receive individual human review. AIZeryn seeks to apply oversight proportionate to the potential risks and consequences associated with the relevant use.

3. Transparency About Artificial Intelligence

AIZeryn aims to communicate clearly when artificial intelligence is materially involved in an interaction, process, decision-support activity, or communication where disclosure would help a person understand the nature of that interaction. Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, AIZeryn may provide information about: the role artificial intelligence plays in a process; the general purpose for which an AI system is used; the types of information an AI system may process; the limitations and potential sources of error; whether human oversight or review is available; and how a person may raise a concern or request additional information. The level of information provided may vary based on legal requirements, security considerations, confidentiality obligations, protection of proprietary information, and the nature of the relevant AI system.

4. Human Review of AI Outputs

AIZeryn may establish review procedures for AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs where human review is appropriate based on factors such as: the sensitivity of the subject matter; the potential effect on a person's rights, safety, privacy, or opportunities; the likelihood and severity of foreseeable harm; the reliability and maturity of the relevant system; the availability of a qualified reviewer; and applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, or ethical obligations. Human reviewers are expected to apply independent judgment and should not treat an AI-generated output as automatically accurate, complete, or appropriate. Where a review identifies a material issue, AIZeryn may correct the output, provide additional context, escalate the matter, limit further use, or take other appropriate action.

5. Accountability and Governance

AIZeryn maintains responsibility for the design, deployment, monitoring, and governance of the AI systems it develops or uses, subject to applicable agreements and the role of third-party providers. AIZeryn seeks to support accountability through measures such as: assigning responsibility for AI-related decisions and oversight; documenting material system requirements, testing, and risk considerations; maintaining appropriate review and approval processes; monitoring performance and reported concerns; conducting evaluations when material changes are made; applying access controls and security safeguards; and taking corrective action when risks, failures, or unacceptable outcomes are identified. AIZeryn may also assess third-party AI providers and service providers based on relevant security, privacy, reliability, transparency, and compliance considerations.

6. Explainability and Meaningful Information

AIZeryn seeks to make AI-assisted processes understandable to the people affected by them. The information provided may include a general explanation of the system's purpose, the role of relevant data, important limitations, and the availability of human review. AI systems can be technically complex, and a complete explanation of their internal operation may not always be possible or appropriate. AIZeryn will nevertheless seek to provide meaningful, understandable information consistent with applicable law, security requirements, confidentiality obligations, and protection of intellectual property.

7. Fairness and Non-Discrimination

AIZeryn is committed to reducing unfair bias and discriminatory outcomes in the development and use of artificial intelligence. To the extent appropriate to the relevant system, AIZeryn may use measures such as: reviewing data sources and system assumptions; testing for quality, consistency, and potential disparate impacts; evaluating performance across relevant populations and circumstances; investigating reports of unfair or harmful outcomes; improving datasets, processes, or system controls; and applying human oversight where automated results may create heightened risks. No evaluation method can identify every possible form of bias. AIZeryn therefore treats fairness as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time certification.

8. Safety, Security, and Reliability

AIZeryn seeks to identify and manage foreseeable risks associated with artificial intelligence, including risks involving inaccurate outputs, misuse, privacy, security, discrimination, and unintended consequences. Depending on the circumstances, safeguards may include: pre-deployment testing and risk assessment; ongoing monitoring and quality evaluation; restrictions on access or use; abuse-prevention and security controls; incident escalation and response procedures; measures to reduce the risk of harmful or misleading outputs; and periodic review and improvement of system performance. AIZeryn does not represent that any AI system is entirely free from errors, vulnerabilities, bias, or security risks.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

AIZeryn seeks to apply privacy-by-design principles to the development and use of artificial intelligence. These principles may include: collecting and using personal information for specified and legitimate purposes; limiting access to personal information based on business need; applying reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards; evaluating whether information is necessary for a particular purpose; retaining information only for as long as reasonably necessary or legally required; and providing applicable privacy rights and choices. Information about AIZeryn's website-related data practices is described in the AIZeryn Website Privacy Policy and Cookie & Consent Notice. Privacy questions and data-rights requests may be directed to the privacy team at privacy@aizeryn.com.

10. Continuous Improvement

AIZeryn recognizes that responsible artificial intelligence requires ongoing evaluation and improvement. Laws, standards, technology, risks, and public expectations continue to evolve. AIZeryn may periodically review and update its AI governance practices, oversight procedures, safeguards, and disclosures. Information received from users, employees, reviewers, researchers, regulators, and other stakeholders may inform those improvements.

11. Reporting Concerns

Questions, concerns, or reports regarding AIZeryn's use or governance of artificial intelligence may be submitted to info@aizeryn.com. When reporting a concern, individuals should provide enough information to allow AIZeryn to understand and evaluate the issue. AIZeryn may request additional information where necessary, subject to appropriate privacy and security safeguards. AIZeryn will assess reported concerns in light of the relevant facts, applicable obligations, potential impact, and available corrective measures.

This disclosure describes AIZeryn's general principles and intended practices. It does not create a contractual promise that every safeguard will apply in every circumstance, nor does it guarantee that any AI-generated or AI-assisted output will be accurate, complete, unbiased, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose.
